Fèis Eilean an Fhraoich (The Heather Isle Festival) is a week-long Gaelic and traditional arts tuition festival that takes place in Stornoway every July, where young people between the ages of 3-18 come together to learn and develop skills in Gaelic song, drama and traditional instruments.
The Fèis also offers year-round classes aimed at teenagers, where young people focus on developing sets and performing in public. This year’s talented group have been practicing over months to put together an eclectic set of Gaelic songs and trad music that you're not going to want to miss, from beautiful slow airs to foot-stomping Gaelic puirt-a-beul (Mouth music).
