Alasdair and Keith are two of the most celebrated Hebridean musicians of their generation. These two friends formed their musical connection while still in primary school, playing local ceilidhs and dances before going on to help found the seminal local band, Face the West. They have each gone on to have highly successful musical careers in their own right and this is set to be a very special musical reunion.
Alasdair White is widely regarded as one of the leading exponents of Scottish music touring, teaching and performing today on both sides of the Atlantic. His deep rooted yet wide-ranging musicality reflects his Isle of Lewis birthplace, current New York City home, and over 20 years globe-trotting with some of the best known names in Scottish, Irish, and Breton music.
Keith Morrison has had a rich and varied history of performing with renowned bands like Face the West, The Tumbling Souls, and Heron Valley. In 2008 he founded Wee Studio and has since been instrumental in shaping the sound of artists across the Western Isles and beyond.
From intimate local gigs to international tours spanning Vietnam to the USA, his music journey is a tapestry of local, historic culture and worldwide modern sounds and experiences.
