18-year-old Isla Scott is a singer-songwriter from the Isle of Harris. She is currently studying Traditional Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, specialising in Gaelic song.
Isla began songwriting age 11, with a particular interest in composing original contemporary Gaelic songs.
Highlight performances include the New Celtic Song competition at the International Pan Celtic Festival in 2023, and a series of shows with Hit the Road tours.
Isla has recently signed a record deal with Wee Studio Records on the Isle of Lewis, with an EP of original songs set to be released in the spring of 2025. Her debut single, Nuair Thigeas An Oidhch’, is out now on all streaming platforms
