Where will the Survival Sessions be streamed? What platform are you using?

In order to bring the Survival Sessions directly into your own homes, we have teamed up with the streaming platform MyPlayer.

Built by a group of people who have worked collectively in arts infrastructure for too many years to count, MyPlayer is a truly Scottish media brand. MyPlayer brings art, culture, music & sport back to the people, and offers a means to connect people with the essential aspects of life we have so sorely missed while providing lifeline support to creatives, venues and clubs in these trying times.

Do I have to create an account with MyPlayer?

Yes, in order to buy your Event Pass and access the streaming platform where the Survival Sessions concert content will be broadcast. This ensures a safe and reliable connection to the stream.

Can I watch from outside the UK?

You can! Our streaming platform partners MyPlayer allow you to access the Survival Sessions where ever you are in the world. Just remember the time difference!

Can I watch the streams again?

Yes, all Survival Sessions MyPlayer streamed content will be available to "catch up" on for 1 week after the broadcast.

I can’t make the whole weekend – can I buy an individual day ticket?

We've tried to make things as simple as possible by only offering one single Event Pass, we hope that you'll be able to tune in and enjoy as much (or as little) as you wish across the Survival Sessions event.

Can I buy tickets to attend the show live, in person?

We only had a limited amount of live event tickets available which were balloted for, the only fair means we could settle on.

What do I get with the Event Pass?

The Event Pass will allow you access to all four evenings of streamed Survival Sessions content broadcast from Stornoway right to your home, where ever you are in the world. We have various workshops, fringe events and other free content available via several other platforms. These are not included in the Event Pass, you can find more information on this content HERE

I have bought my Event Pass, what happens now?

You will have set up an account with MyPlayer in order to purchase your Event Pass, log into your account and select the "My Tickets" tab on the left hand side of the screen. You should find your Survival Sessions Event pass here, this will give you access to the streams which will automatically "go live" on the evenings of the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of July.

Can I by an Event Pass for someone else?

Please bear in mind that the quality of your playback experience is largely dependent on the download speed you have from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and/or mobile provider. Your internet speed can vary depending on many factors, such as the time of day, WiFi performance, the strength of the signal provided by your ISP, and other devices/users on your connection.

We recommend that you disconnect any devices that are on standby and connected to WiFi during the Survival Sessions, as these may be working in the background which can slow your connection.
