Circus Cabarets
Roll up roll up to see our Circus Cabarets, taking place several times a day in the circus area!
Hosted by a fabulous and sparkly compere, this is a family-friendly cabaret of wonderment with jaw dropping skills ranging from award-winning hula hoop, visually stunning acrobatic displays, impressive hand balancing, playful juggling and more!
Come and experience the joyful surprises of the circus with us.
Circus Workshops
Spin, twirl and juggle with fun and accessible circus workshops from Think Circus, Edinburgh's social circus.
Learn the basics of juggling, hula hoop, balancing, plate spinning, ribbon twirling and more!
Workshops exploring different skills will be happening throughout the day, all ages and abilities welcome.
Walkabout 
Keep an eye out for roaming circus performers all over the HebCelt site.
Expect visual surprises, big impact and lots of opportunity for interaction.

OH!CON: The Outer Hebrides Comic Con
Join us in the OH!CON tent for a preview of this year’s OH!CON (being held on Saturday 3 October, since you ask). Truly, the greatest comic con in the Outer Hebrides!
Into sci-fi or fantasy? Comics? Games? Then we’re your people!
We’ll have gaming, puzzles, creative activities, cosplayers, and all sorts of other nerdy stuff. Want to chill? Relax with a book or comic in the OH!CON library. Feeling artistic? Come and draw a comic with us. Need to tune your ship to do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs? Our technicians are standing by.
COMANN NAM PÀRANT
GAELIC SONG, RHYMES AND STORYTELLING
Friday and Saturday 3.30pm and 4.30pm
Come along and join us for some songs, rhymes, and a favourite children’s story. Our fun 30-minute sessions will be led by Gaelic early years officers.
These sessions are suitable for children aged up to around 5 and all levels of Gaelic welcome, from complete beginner to fluent speaker.

AN LANNTAIR ART TENT
Art Tent family drop-in - Indigenous Animals
Thursday to Saturday
Drop in to the Art Lanntair art tent at the top of the castle green for some creative fun.
Create miniature indigenous animals and sea creatures to populate an island landscape.
You can also add to the large collaborative artworks by painting animals on panels.
Fun for all ages led by An Lanntair arts workers.
YOUNG ISLANDERS NETWORK - YOUTH HUB

Find Young Islanders Network in the youth hub and add your voice to something bigger!
Jump into our photo booth, share your island story as part of a national collection, and get creative on a shared festival artwork about what HebCelt means to you.
Shout it, sing it, draw it, snap it! Help young island voices be heard loud and clear as part of the delivery of the National Islands Plan.
