Festival Role: Site Team Leader 

How did you get involved in the Festival?  With a lack of choice! lol. The lovely Sharon (Finance Director) is my significant (better) half so would have missed her if I hadn't gone in 2022! Decided to go along and see if I enjoyed what HebCelt had to offer as an experience! Started off in the Driving Team and now working in the Site Team. Did I enjoy it? ...Mmmmmmmm 

What makes HebCelt so special? So many things. Firstly and most importantly, the people. A group of very special, passionate, skilled, hard working and amazing individuals. Then there's what I would call 'The HebCelt Way!'. Put simply, a way of working, attitude towards doing what needs to be done and attitude towards each other. Often also referred to as the HebCelt Family. Truly an honour to be part of such a group of people.

Best Festival Memory? A couple. Standing at front of house with ex Festival Director Caroline watching the Proclaimers, with tears pouring down my face knowing that the entire HebCelt team created the platform for the Proclaimers to do what they do and for those in the audience to enjoy that. A special moment with special people. Secondly - the Site and Operations team I work with. Amazing group of people, a pleasure to work with with a constant and enthusiastic drive to improve.
