Festival Role Deputy Team Leader Token Team

How did you get involved in the festival?  I got involved because my friend and neighbour Agnes asked if I’d like to join her Token Team. How could I refuse. I was co-owner of a shop on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile so I’m naturally very good at selling tokens.  

What makes HebCelt special?  HebCelt feels special because it’s so local and everyone involved is super nice, helpful, friendly and immediately becomes a new friend, and the music is great too!

Best festival memory?  Making it through HebCelt with no rain. 

Favourite festival gig?  I love seeing and listening to the women musicians. My absolute favourite is Siobhan Miller! I’d love to see Annie Lennox on the HebCelt stage and think she’d love being in Lewis.
