'Words can barely describe the huge success of this years Hebridean Celtic Festival' announced local paper Stornoway Gazette when new kids on the block, La Bottine Souriante, outgunned top act Wolfstone. Festival organiser Fiona Morrison commented on the success of this years festival, "I don't think we could have asked for anything better, even we were surprised by how it went. We tried to make the event as big as we could and get it to appeal to people of all ages."

Pub sessions, busking and storytelling also became part of the line-up for the event, now in its second year, which also included appearances from Salsa Celtica, Anna Murray, Corner House, Tannas, Drop the Box, Lorraine Jordan, Alison Kinnaird, Donnie Black & Malcolm Jones, Alasdair Fraser and many more.
