Art Glass by Catherine Lowe (Trading name Democraft Ltd)

Art Glass by Catherine Lowe (Trading name Democraft Ltd)

Fused glass jewellery, platters, bowls, fridge magnets all made by myself in my studio in Glasgow. Designs inspired from the times I've spent in the Outer Hebrides, including when I lived there. I still come back regularly for inspiration. Other work can be seen on my Facebook page Art Glass by Catherine Lowe

Dalbeg Design

Dalbeg Design

Unique silver jewellery and accessories, inspired by the wild beauty of Dalbeg Beach a wild and beautiful beach cove on the west coast of The Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, off Scotland. What inspires my jewellery-making most is being able to take a flat piece of silver, or a piece of silver wire, and give it a completely different shape. Or enjoying the calmness of just getting into the rhythm of making a continuous chain incorporating beautiful stones or pearls to make a fine necklace, bracelet or anklet. Most of my jewellery is made from 925 Sterling Silver, either on its own or combined with genuine gemstones or freshwater cultured pearls.

Debbie Cassels Artist

Debbie Cassels Artist

Established painter Debbie works best with bright vibrant colours and texture. She describes her work as 'realistic abstract' and has accumulated a large collection over the past few years, exhibiting in many galleries and winning the Willa Revie award. After a successful event last year, Debbie is back with more artwork inspired by the landscapes and harbours of the Outer Hebrides. This year will include original artwork, prints and cards, and, to enable festival goers to make purchases without worrying about transport, Debbie will be offering a free secure UK delivery service. Debbie relishes this opportunity to continue to work with the fabulous team at this award winning festival.

Lewisian Nice

Lewisian Nice

My business has now been running for five years, where I craft unique gifts and homeware with a Hebridean twist. My main seller has been beautifully crafted, handmade Harris Tweed mini clocks which are very popular with tourists and locals alike. Other items I produce in Harris Tweed are bunting, heart garlands, costume jewellery and keyrings.. I have a range of non-Harris Tweed items that all have a local/Gàidhlig theme including coasters, prints, notebooks, baby bibs, cocktail stirrers, sleep masks and keyrings.

Modren / Alice Mac Prints

MODREN
Contemporary Harris Tweed bags and small items handmade here in Lewis, often from tweed woven by my sister. The tweed is complemented by hand leatherwork and cast brass hardware to create artisan goods that are built to last.
